**New Christmas Cards added**

In the gallery, I have put so many of my cards made over the years. I love using peel-offs and stencils on parchment cards, they are useful for a “quickie” card.

There are no instructions with these cards, but I bet loads of you have the same peel-offs and stencils and haven’t yet used them! I so often hear of my students who have stacks of peel-offs in their possession that they have not yet used, so here are a few ideas. A lot of these peel-offs will be no longer available I am sure, but some of you may just have the exact same peel-off in your stash!
If not, you can use a different peel-off in the same vein obviously!

I love to trace a small border, add a peel-off and trace a calligraphy greeting of mine. You may even have lots of my calligraphy which has been published over the years in the Parchment Craft magazine to trace on the cards, but if not, my 6 A4 sheets on the website of most everyday greetings are available for just £2-00 plus p and p.

The peel-offs are then just merely half embossed lightly, and coloured on the reverse with felt tip pens.
Gridwork is nice on the edges to give a bit more depth and expertise to the card, and use of stencils are so nice to add a bit of whitework to it. Stencils are stuck on top on the parchment with low tack tape, and then you turn over and emboss into the shapes on the back, firstly with a large ball, then a medium and sometimes even a small ball tool to get the desired whiteness.

Several of the cards have been made using stitching too, I think you can see when you enlarge the photos which ones have been made in this way. I stitch through both the parchment and the card together, otherwise you see the knots underneath the parchment obviously. Then you just need to cover the back with another piece of the same colour card to hide the ends!!
